Fun Events This Weekend

Lots of fun things going on this weekend. all events located near us at the Reserve at Creekside!

  1. Friday Night Jazz at the Woodmere Art Museum. Tonight! 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m. | $22 ($12 members, children under 12: Free). Wine and refreshments will be served. Programming details here.
  2. Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival  Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the festival spotlights more than 150 vendors and artists who are peddling an assortment of home and garden items. Items include: garden displays, flowers, terrariums, fountains and birdhouses, handmade furniture, quilts, art, jewelry and more. The shops along Germantown Avenue will also swing open their doors to festival attendees with special sales and more. click for details!
  3. Ambler Auto Show – This Saturday, May 14th. 3-8 PM. “The Best Little Car Show Around” will be better than ever for its 20th Anniversary.  Butler Avenue will close for the event from Lindenwold Avenue to Main Street  so that more than 200 classic cars and their owners can compete for a litany of prizes. You can stroll down the Avenue, go to the restaurants and shops or grab a bite from one of the local food trucks which will be parked along Ridge Avenue for this special celebration.
  4. Free Photography Exhibit – The Historical Society of Montgomery County has been collecting photographs from around Montgomery County since the organization formed in 1881. Its Photograph Collection now includes tens of thousands of photographs that cover a wide span of events, people, and places from around the county. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
