First Friday at Downtown Ambler
May 4th
From 6:00PM to 9:00PM enjoy the beginning of the Frist Friday celebrations in Downtown Ambler. This free event is always a blast and features a free “Kid’s Zone”, where your kids can enjoy crafts, games, inflatables, shows, and more! Ambler Farmers Market
Every Saturday starting May 5th
Located on West Butler Pike & South Maple Street in Ambler, the Ambler Farmers Market will take place the first Saturday in May. From 9:00AM to 1:00PM, walk around the market and visit each tent for amazing finds! Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to this event and enjoy the relaxed and friendly environment!

Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival 2018
May 6th
The Chestnut Hill Home & Garden Festival is back for 2018 and with over 150 home & garden vendors lining Germantown Avenue, there is a lot to explore and enjoy. This free event takes place from 11AM to 5PM and offers live music, delicious food and drinks, and entertainment for your kids. Jazz Mamas: Nurturing Jazz
May 11th
Make your way to the Woodmere Art Museum located on 9201 Germantown Avenue for an amazing night full of Jazz music. Jazz Mamas: Nurturing Jazz will feature current vocalists, paying tribute to jazz artists like Dinah Washington, Anita O’Day, Nancy Wilson, Abbey Lincoln, Carmen McCrae, and Peggy Lee. This night of music is sure to remind attendees of the spirit of the nurturing jazz songs and artists of the past.

Mother’s Day Brunch
May 13th
Celebrate Mother’s Day by attending a delicious brunch at Morris Arboretum. Afterwards, walk around the Arboretum and enjoy the spring flowers and displays. Tickets will be available for purchase starting April 1st, so if you want to attend this lovely event, make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time. 22nd Annual Ambler Auto Show at Butler Avenue
May 19th
Known as “The Best Little Car Show Around,” is back and better than ever for the 22nd Annual Ambler Auto Show on Butler Avenue. From 1:00PM to 6:00PM, Butler Avenue will be closed for this awesome event. More than 200 classic cars and their owner’s will be on display. The Auto Show welcomes families to stroll the street and view the cars on display while enjoying local food trucks, restaurants, and shops!

Restoration Volunteer Workday
May 19th
Do you want a fun outdoor activity that you and your kids can enjoy? The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is holding a Restoration Volunteer Workday, located on 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road, where you and your family can improve the health of the forest and help you connect with nature. If you plan on going to this event, it is recommended that you wear long pants, sturdy boots, and bring a fun and positive attitude! All tools and gloves will be provided.

Springfield Mills Opening Day Celebration
May 20th
Take your family to Springfield Mills Opening Day Celebration at Morris Arboretum and explore the revolutionary technology and beautiful setting along the Wissahickon Creek. The Opening Day Celebration will begin at 1:00PM and go to 4:00PM so don’t miss your chance to learn and explore the local history.
