Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the activities stop in Bucks County! There are tons of fabulous fall festivals and events to attend, including some frightening fun for the Halloween Holiday.
Beginning in early September and continuing into October, the Scarecrow Festival at Peddler’s Village displays amazingly handcrafted scarecrows made by local businesses and organizations. The event kicks off September 19 and 20 with the Scarecrow Festival, featuring Scarecrow-Making Workshops, pumpkin pie-eating contests, live entertainment, pumpkin painting and more!
Newtown Beerfest is held on September 19th this year in the parking lot of the Newtown Stocking Works Complex where people 21 and over can sample brews from over 60 different types of breweries. This event includes music and food to enjoy along with your beer tasting.
Going into October on the 17th, the 16th Annual Autumn Alive will get into the spirit of the season in Upper Bucks County. In this family-friendly event, the streets of Quakertown feature music, games, prizes, crafts, beer tasting, a pet parade and more. This festival is pet-friendly, and anyone is welcome to bring their animal companions to enjoy the fun!
