\nSponges are great tools whenever you clean, however, they can build up a lot of residue midway through a big job. When this happens don’t fret, you can easily disinfect your sponge quickly by squeezing everything out and then microwaving it on high for a minute! Your sponge will be brand new and you\u2019ll be able to keep cleaning without any major disruptions.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Putting a time limit on a spring-cleaning task will help you stay focused and get your tasks done efficiently. However, you will also see how long it actually takes to you complete a chore, which will make them feel more manageable.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Clutter is always going to show up in any household, so when you’re spring-cleaning make space for inevitable clutter. By going through the current built up clutter laying around the house to clearing away a designated space where new clutter will go, you’ll be able to keep track of everything while keeping things fairly clean and manageable.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Water rings on wood can be a huge eye sore, and you might think that they are hard to get rid of, but they are actually pretty easy to fix! All you have to do is grab a hair dryer and blast the offending water ring on high heat until it starts to disappear. Once you are happy with the overall look, rub a bit of olive oil on the area to recondition the wood!<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>There are a lot of places in your home that you forget to clean because they are unseen! Places like garbage disposals and air vents are major areas to clean when it comes to spring-cleaning! When you neglect unseen areas, dust, dirt, and residue can build up and you don’t want that to happen. Therefore, when you’re going through and cleaning your home, try to keep in mind those unseen areas that might be easily forgotten.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>If you have some unwanted water stains on stainless steel, all you need is a lemon to get rid of them! Cut the lemon in half and start rubbing away the stains. This is a better and more natural solution to the problem instead of using harsh chemicals and it leaves behind a fresh citrusy scent!<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>If there are some old food stains inside your microwave, all you have to do to clean the area is to steam clean your microwave! Fill a microwave-safe bowl with 1-2 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and your favorite essential oil scent. Microwave the mixture for five minutes. Then, all you have to do is gently scrub the remaining residue away!<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Window cleaning can be tricky. If it’s too hot, your windows will dry too quickly and leave streaks. That\u2019s why it’s best to clean windows on a cloudy day! The sun won’t be able to dry up your solution before you can wipe it away! If you’re looking for a made-at-home window washing solution, mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water or add one teaspoon of mild dishwashing liquid to several gallons of water!<\/p>\n
