Free admission on Monday, May 30.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0Philly POPS Memorial Day Salute<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday, May 28, 2016<br \/>\nThe Philly POPS will perform Philly\u2019s first major Memorial Day concert this year at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets range from $15 to $25 for most, but free tickets are available for military members and first-responders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0Independence National Historical Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>May 28-30, 2016<br \/>\nIndependence National Historical Park will be honoring the nation\u2019s veterans throughout Memorial Day weekend. Franklin Flea at Reading Terminal Market<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Saturday, May 28, 2016<br \/>\nBrowse handmade and vintage items from dozens of vendors at Franklin Flea.\u00a0The expansive outdoor market is known for a wide array of vintage goods, handcrafted items, jewelry, artisanal food, furniture and much more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00a0Service at Laurel Hill Cemetery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday, May 29, 2016<br \/>\nIn 1868, Laurel Hill Cemetery was the site of the first Memorial Day Observance in Philadelphia. This year, the cemetery is honoring its past with a Decoration Day Service with the General Meade Society.
