The Kutztown Folk Festival is a renown Folk Festival that has been reviewed as one of the most true to tradition and authentic folk festivals in America! The Kutztown Festival is all about good old fashioned family fun. Bring the kids or grandkids to the petting zoo, take a ride on the only horse-powered carousel in the country, try some traditional Pennsylvania-Dutch foods, or just browse the festival grounds! Whatever you decide to do at the festival you are sure to have a great time. The festival starts on July 1st and lasts until July 9th with different attractions, entertainment, and activities from day to day. Tickets are $14 for adults, $13 for seniors, $5 for children 13-17 years old as well as students, and free for children 12 and under. The festival will take place along Linden St. and inside the J. Birney Crum Stadium with a wide variety of entertaining options. With performances\u00a0from more than 10 different bands and dance troupes, you’ll never have a dull moment at this festival. Along with these performances there will be a number of food vendors from local and regional restaurants and mobile eateries. If all of that wasn’t enough to get your attention there is also a pet parade! So if you like cute dogs is 4th of July gear you’re in luck. Last but not least, after all the festivities there will be a spectacular fireworks display to close out the night at 9:30.
